Monday 8am- Carson is feeling really good. Here is a picture from his basketball game Thursday night. One day after his procedure and a 6 hour stay in the hospital, he goes out and helps his team to victory. He continues to take his chemo at home and is fighting off the ugly side effects of his current medicine. Today is the last day for that one (until he starts it again in 25 days) so by mid week it should be out of his system.

Carson played in his first baseball game in over a year and didn’t miss a beat. He batted in the lead off spot, started at shortstop and then pitched one inning. He went 2 for 2 at the plate, scored one run, made 2 great plays in the field and struck out 3 batters while pitching. The River Dogs won 2-1. Carson was the Player of the Game and received a pack of baseball cards for his great effort. What a joy it was to see him back out there!

“Carson is strong” “Thank you for caring”
